To apply for HDR or ADT qualification

HDR (Authorization to Supervise Research) or ADT (Authorization to Supervise a Thesis) allows you to supervise or co-supervise theses. Holding an HDR qualification is also a prerequisite to apply to become a University professor.

Supervision of doctoral students training

Supervision of doctoral students training
To support teacher-researchers and future thesis supervisors, the Graduate Research School is organizing a one-day training course for candidates to the HDR or ADT.  A certificate of participation in this training must be attached to your application for authorization to be submitted to your doctoral school. Three training sessions are organized each year to allow a maximum of participants to take this one-day training. The 3rd session will take place on November 20 and 21, 2018 for HDR or ADT candidates from October 2018 or candidates who have completed an engagement form. We will inform you as soon as registration starts. If you are unable to attend this course for good reason, you must complete the engagement form and send it to your doctoral school.
For any further information, you can contact the doctoral professionalization office at formationdoctorat@u-bordeaux.fr
