2022 Thesis prize

The thesis prizes of the University of Bordeaux were created to encourage the quality of work and thesis and motivate young researchers by distinguishing the best doctoral work, both fundamental and applied.

Auditions results

37 doctors form every disciplines combined applied for the thesis prizes 2022 awarded as part of the University of Bordeaux Idex and organized by the Graduate Research School. After a doctoral schools preselect, 9 doctors have been auditionned on June 30th 2022 by an international jury composed by teachers-researcher. At the end of the auditions, 4 young doctors from the University of Bordeaux, have been awarded for their excellent work defended in 2021.

The "Humanities and socials sciences" prize

Marie PADILLA doctoral school of Law for her research on « British Public Law and its « Doctrine ». (A French) Critical perspective on an objet to (re)construct », thesis supervised by Marie-Claire PONTHOREAU-LANDI (CERCCLE).

The "Sciences and technologies" prize

Vincent BERTIN doctoral school of Physics and Engineering for his research on « Flows at soft interfaces: the roles of elasticity, capillarity & fluctuations », thesis supervised by Thomas SALEZ (Laboratoire Ondes et Matière d’Aquitaine) and Elie RAPHAEL (ESPCI).

The "Biology and Health" prize

Anaïs VIGNOLES doctoral school Sciences and Environments for her research on « Technological Trajectories and Eco-Cultural Niche Dynamics from the Middle to the Recent Gravettian in France », thesis supervised by William BANKS (De la Préhistoire à l’Actuel : Culture, Environnement, Anthropologie).

The "International Jury" prize

Mélissa MACALLI doctoral school Society, Politics, Public Health for her research on « Suicidal behaviours among students: risk analysis and modelling in the i-Share cohort », thesis supervised by Christophe TZOURIO (Bordeaux Research Center for Population Health) and Sylvana COTE (Université de Montréal)
