The Individual Monitoring Committee
Following the decree of August 26, 2022 about doctoral studies, an individual monitoring committee must be proposed by the thesis supervisor during the first year enrollment.
In accordance with this decree, the members of the monitoring committee do not participate in directing the work of doctoral students.
This means that the thesis director cannot be part of this committee.
Each year, the meeting of each doctoral student with the members of his committee must allow the student to benefit from an external view on the progress of his thesis.
The composition of the monitoring committee depends on your doctoral school.
