Registration must be renewed each year at the beginning of the academic year.

Informations about enrollments

  • Enrollment fees for the year 2022-2023 : 380 €
  • Student life fees paid to the CROUS (CVEC). Collected by the CROUS, this contribution of 100€ is mandatory for your university enrollment. Download the 2018 and 2019 reports on actions funded at the UBx by the CVEC.
  • The Social Security : French PhD students: If you have a work contract, you must register to the CPAM (Caisse Primaire d’Assurance Maladie). For more information depending on you status, please consult the national website. International PhD students: Contact our Welcome Office for International Researchers through the following accueil.chercheurs@u-bordeaux.fr.
  • Civil liability : It is strongly recommended that you subscribe to a complementary personal insurance policy that also includes civil liability coverage for damages you may cause to others. It is up to you to purchase one from an insurance company of your choice..

For whom?

Doctoral students of university of Bordeaux : to re-enroll in the second year and more.

When?

The enrollment in a doctoral program must be renewed at the beginning of each university year (Art. D612-2 and D612-4 of the Education Code / Order of August 26, 2022).

Enrollments for the 2023-2024 academic year are open from July 3 to 19, 2023, then from August 28 to October 25, 2023.

If you are concerned by a thesis defense, you must pay the CVEC to the CROUS and the registration fees before declaring your jury.

How?

Step 1: Re-enrolling in the ADUM space

From your personal Adum space you must update your file and request your re-enrollment for the current academic year.

The information will be automatically transmitted to the thesis supervisor and to your doctoral school.

From the 3rd year onwards, enrollment is approved on the proposal of the doctoral school director, after consulting the thesis supervisor and the individual monitoring committee (art. 14 Royal Decree of 25 May 2016). 

After completing the enrollment procedure, you will receive an email from the Doctoral School with all relevant information or how to proceed

Step 2: CVEC (Contribution Vie Etudiante et de Campus)

The payment of this contribution is a compulsory formality. The amount is set at 100€ this year.

You must go to https://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr to make the payment and obtain a certificate. The number of this certificate will be required for further enrollment.

If you are French Government scholar (BGF) you will be exempt from the CVEC. However, you must provide a certificate of exemption. More information on: http://cvec-info.nuonet.fr/la-cvec.html

Warning : if you are in a cotutelle program and the contract is signed and stipulates that the registration fees will be paid at the partner university for the current academic year, you do not have to pay the CVEC. Step 3: Finalizing your re-enrollment

You must finalize the procedure by following the steps below:

1. You must verify the data entered and pay the tuition fees (380€) via the following link:https://apogee.u-bordeaux.fr/AuthEtudiantUb/index_nocas.php?app=iareins
 
The payment in 3 times is possible until October 17, 2023. It must be done at the end of the data verification.
 
Please note that you must use your student number as an identifier.

Once these steps have been completed and verified by the Admissions Office, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment.

Step 4: School certificate and student card

Your school certificate can be downloaded from Adum (in French and English), under "Documents administratifs"/"Scolarité" and from your ENT (in French only), under "Mon cursus"/"Mon dossier administratif".

You keep your student card, only the sticker must be collected from your doctoral school.

Reissue of the student card:

  • To request a new issue of your student card, please follow the procedure below before coming to the Admissions Office.
  • Reissues are charged at €10, except in the following cases:
    - In the event of card malfunction  
    - In the event of theft, with associated complaint (to be presented to the Admissions Office).
